A Magical Pink Sunrise

Magical Pink Sunrise over Goulais Bay, Aug. 20/21

I woke up early to use the outhouse and looked up and saw the sun rising.  It was mystical, magical even.  I've never seen a pink sunrise before. It was super cloudy and foggy over the lake.

I was in awe of this sunrise.

As the sun rose higher, it started to turn orange and yellow, but still pink along the bottom. It looked more like a Miami sunrise than a Northern Ontario sunrise. 

I was so happy that I'd brought my good camera out.  I am not normally an early riser, but I vowed to get up early for every sunrise after this one :-).  The rooster next door was a great help to ensure I got up on time , lol.
