I finished this little guy today. My Dad helped with the magnetic pacifiers...my glue wasn't holding right. Good old Dad came to the rescue. I'm hoping to get some good photos of this doll tomorrow, for auction. I've already started painting another one...a preemie this time.
Mom had me over for supper, and it was sooo funny. She made Peach Kanoodles (sp?). They're basically peaches encased in a sort of dumpling, rolled in bread crumbs mixed with butter and sugar. They're normally delicious. Well, this time, there was a funny taste to them. It turns out, my Mom used Italian bread crumbs, and the funny taste was basil, oregano, and parmesan, lolol. My Dad ate his, then ran to the grocery store to buy regular bread crumbs, and we had seconds, sans Italian spices, an hour later. They were delicious!
Welcome to my blog
If you enjoy finding a lot of different outlets for your creativity, then we may just be kindred spirits.
This blog is an outlet for my interest in miniatures, crochet, plastic canvas, and many other various arts and crafts.
I also love walking, taking digital photos, and most recently, have rediscovered an old love...bike riding! I purchased an amazing new bike, a comfy Townie by Electra this summer, and have been having a grand time exploring the area as though for the first time. It's like being a kid again!
If you enjoy any of these things too, pour a cup of coffee and tea, sit down, and join me.
