Welcome to my blog

If you enjoy finding a lot of different outlets for your creativity, then we may just be kindred spirits.
This blog is an outlet for my interest in miniatures, crochet, plastic canvas, and many other various arts and crafts.

I also love walking, taking digital photos, and most recently, have rediscovered an old love...bike riding! I purchased an amazing new bike, a comfy Townie by Electra this summer, and have been having a grand time exploring the area as though for the first time. It's like being a kid again!

If you enjoy any of these things too, pour a cup of coffee and tea, sit down, and join me.

Take care!

Prayers for Ukraine

Drawn with Procreate

War in Europe...how did this happen?

My heart is just breaking for the people in Ukraine.  It just doesn't seem real that this type of war could be happening in 2022.

Biden in the US was warning Ukraine and the world about this for about a month but nobody seemed to take him seriously.

I'm Canadian, and I just don't understand the world anymore.  I see videos and pictures of the Ukraine people trying to find shelter in subways, with their children and pets, and it doesn't seem real.

I'm blessed and lucky that I have the luxury to be in disbelief while they fight for their lives. I wish their was some way I could help.  The only thing I can think of is to pray.

I hope God will protect them and keep them safe.

Is it wrong to pray for someone to just take Putin out?

Bless the courageous people of Ukraine, who are fighting against a much bigger force, armed with better tools of war.

Putin is holding the world hostage right now as he has Nuclear Weapons and has hinted that he will use them if the West intervenes.  But how can the West not intervene?

Is this the beginning of WW3?

I don't know.

Stay safe, everyone.
