Welcome to my blog

If you enjoy finding a lot of different outlets for your creativity, then we may just be kindred spirits.
This blog is an outlet for my interest in miniatures, crochet, plastic canvas, and many other various arts and crafts.

I also love walking, taking digital photos, and most recently, have rediscovered an old love...bike riding! I purchased an amazing new bike, a comfy Townie by Electra this summer, and have been having a grand time exploring the area as though for the first time. It's like being a kid again!

If you enjoy any of these things too, pour a cup of coffee and tea, sit down, and join me.

Take care!
Kat

Plastic canvas dog house for needle felted Beagle

I made this sweet dog house for my needle felted beagle.

I want to needle felt a yellow lab for the kind lady who sent me the "help em up" harness belonging to her dog, who passed away.  I think a lab, dog house, and bowls, bone, etc., would make a nice thank you gift.  She even paid extra so Mac would get the harness quickly.  The harness was a Godsend yesterday; my Dad and I couldn't have gotten Mac out of the house and into the truck without it.  Thank God the vet gave Mac some pain killers; he was able to walk today.  I think he could have walked alone but I supported him with the harness.  I'm still waiting to find out when we can go see the specialist in Guelph.

I want to sculpt a ball and a better bone out of sculpy.
